Honoured to join the Singapore FinTech Festival 2025 panel on βInnovation Meets Impact: How Greentechs Accelerate Green Transformation for Businessesβ, organised by Gprnt and expertly moderated by Marianne Tan from UOB FinLab, alongside inspiring fellow panelists Damien Cheong (Co.Efficient Alpha), Say Meng Ang (Great Cosmo Industries) and Dr Sakayong P. (VEKIN)
π¬ During the discussion, I shared how climate change is both a crisis and an opportunity and for problem-solvers like us, itβs natural to actβ At Smart Tradzt, we look beyond compliance β helping companies turn sustainability into measurable business success.
πΉFrom pilots to platforms:
Our collaboration with DKSH Healthcare achieved 20-60% carbon reduction per box through reusable packaging β quantified through our Product Carbon Footprint (PACT) platform; demonstrating impact and value of our platform.
πΉFrom companies to industries:
Weβve expanded from enabling carbon accounting (Scope 1β3, Product Carbon Footprint) to powering cross-industry decarbonisation ecosystems β connecting steel, automotive, and building sectors with partners like RMI China and WBCSD – World Business Council for Sustainable Development PACT.
Our digital platform supports Book & Claim, Green Procurement, Decarbonisation Impact Simulation β enabling decarbonization decision support, creating mechanisms that monetize low-carbon materials & prevent double-counting of carbon benefits.
πΉFrom national to regional impact:
Weβre supporting ASEAN-wide pilots β from CDR grade nature-based carbon credit (through a consortium put together by University of Nottingham Malaysia, led by AERODYNE GROUP), shortlisting for National CCUS commercialization pilot to Battery Recycling partnership in China, providing ESG-as-a-Service Platform (batch level PCF, Digital Product Passport, Carbon Insetting) enabling battery supply chain decarbonisation and monetization of the value of near-zero carbon metals. These collaborations show how technology can bridge policy, industry, and innovation.
As hashtag#COP30 discussions intensify and the road to hashtag#COP31 begins, we remain focused on demonstrating how digital tools accelerate real-world decarbonization and unlock green-growth opportunities.
